Refund & cancellation

The only thing Manthika sells is a textbook PDF — a digital file, added to your account the moment payment is confirmed. There is nothing shipped and nothing to cancel before it “arrives”: it arrives instantly. That shapes this policy.

What you’re buying

A one-time purchase of a complete, offline, printable PDF of a textbook whose text is already free to read on this site. Payment is processed by Razorpay; once it confirms the charge, the PDF is unlocked on your account for you to download.

If the payment succeeded but the PDF didn’t reach you

That’s a fault on our side, not a change of mind — write to us within 7 daysof the charge with your order id or payment id and we will either fix your account’s access or refund you in full, whichever you’d prefer.

If you were charged twice, or charged in error

Tell us and we’ll refund the duplicate or mistaken charge in full — this isn’t time-limited the way a change-of-mind request is, though the sooner you write, the sooner it’s sorted.

If you simply change your mind

Because the PDF is delivered instantly and can be downloaded and kept, we treat the sale as complete once it’s unlocked on your account — the same way most digital downloads work. If something about the book itself is wrong (missing pages, a corrupted file, content that doesn’t match what was described), that’s covered above as our fault, not yours — write to us and we’ll make it right.

How to ask for a refund

Write to mohnish2021@gmail.com with the order id or payment id from your confirmation, and what went wrong. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Razorpay, typically within 5–7 working days, though your bank can add its own delay after that.
